Virtual Event Manager - Volunteer (Remote)
The Poderosas, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting Hispanic Women in leadership, is looking for a Virtual Events Manager (Volunteer) to lead the strategy and execution of our online events—from intimate workshops to high-impact panels.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for a professional with at least 4 years of experience in event planning, program management, or marketing who wants to give back while expanding their network and leadership exposure.
What You'll Own:

Manage monthly virtual events aligned with our mission and calendar

Coordinate speakers, scheduling, logistics, and event flow

Collaborate with the project managers and the marketing team to support promotions

Help evolve our event experience based on feedback and community needs
What We're Looking For:

4+ years of experience in event planning, program coordination, or marketing

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable leading Zoom events and managing logistics (breakout rooms, chat, speaker transitions, etc.)

A self-starter who can own a project from concept to execution

Passion for community building and empowering women in leadership

Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
Commitment:

Availability to commit 8–10 hours/month
